I recently worked on a wonderful wedding at Wethele Manor near Leamington Spa, it’s a venue we’ve supplied wedding flowers to on many occasions. This time we were using our wonderful silver candelabra stands for Lucy and Andrew’s wedding.
Lucy wanted to use very neutral soft colours, so I combined cream roses with freesias, Singapore orchids and soft pink roses. The effect was amazing, as you can see in the photo below the candelabras worked really well in the marquee and the soft pink colour added a little warmth.
In the close up photo (below left) you can see all the flowers combined with the lovely variegated pittosporum leaves. Lucy also wanted to add a touch of glamour and you can see that I dangled jewels on thin satin ribbons off the candelabra arms. We also scattered large and small crystals on the mirrors around the base of the candelabras.
Lucy was getting ready at Wethele Manor on the morning of the wedding and couldn’t wait to get into the marquee to see the effect, all I could hear were screams of joy as she took in the scene. I’m glad to say she was delighted with the very glamorous effect the candelabra centrepieces gave to the marquee.
Here (photos below) you can see how I featured all the same flowers, colour theme and soft vintage look to her wedding bouquet.
