I know spring is defiantly on its way when I see daffodils at the wholesalers. They may not be out just yet in the garden but at least they are making an appearance, as a cut flower to give us hope that spring is finally on it’s way.
In the photo here you can see a buttonhole that I made for a spring wedding using miniature daffodils.
These are really the only suitable type of daffodil to use in a buttonhole as the tiny size of these flowers makes them perfect for buttonholes and corsages.
Daffodils and crocuses have to be my favourite spring flowers, I just love their vibrant sunny colours, as they are the first burst of colour into the garden after the winter.
