Wethele Manor Weddings

What a little hidden gem of a wedding venue Wethele Manor is, nestled in the Warwickshire countryside just outside of Leamington Spa. This idyllic rural location is ideal for brides that wish to have exclusive use of a venue.

We were fortunate to provide the wedding flowers for Vicky and Ross’s recent wedding at Wethele Manor. Vicky’s heart was set on having beautiful ivory calla lilies and they looked spectacular in the large Marquee at this venue.

The bride choose this stunning white calla lily shower bouquet (photo above left). I have to say this has been a popular choice this year as shower bouquets are back in fashion. The calla lily when used en masse provides a really classic elegant look. The bridesmaids who wore mint green held stylish sheaf bouquets of white calla lilies.

When you enter the barn at Wethele Manor, you can see why this venue is a popular choice for couples having a civil ceremony. The barn has been restored beautifully retaining the original beams and slate floor. The delicate wooden chairs also complement the room perfectly.

Above you can see how we placed two pedestal arrangements either side of the registrar’s table. The sun shone through the windows and doors on this sunny September day.

The couple decided to stick with their love of calla lilies for all of the table arrangements. They chose to decorate half the tables with an elegant display of calla lilies in the tall vases (photo above left) and the other half with the large goldfish bowls. All of the arrangements had mint green stones in the bottom to tie in with their colour theme. For the top table we placed a series of large and mini goldfish bowls along the length of the table with tea lights linking them (photo above right).

The elegant marquee is set in the grounds at Wethele Manor and is plenty big enough to cater for weddings of all sizes. The Manor (pictured above left) and marquee is surrounded by beautiful countryside, which provides a perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. There is also a large terraced area (above right) that is great for guest to spill out on.
