At Pure Botanics we are always trying to come up with original ideas and Valentines is no exception.
As I have over indulged during the festive season and then again recently celebrating a birthday, at the moment giving me a box of chocolates is not the best present. So I’ve created this box of flowers as a perfect alternative.
I’ve used the classic heart shaped red rose box and filled it with yellow roses and the beautiful white Phalaenopsis orchid.
Using yellow roses, as an alternative to red is a good way to keep the cost of valentines gifts down.
Red roses escalate in price during the valentine’s week so it’s a good idea to look for alternatives.
Yellow roses are said to symbolise joy, happiness, friendship and say ‘I care’.
If your feeling creative you could fill the large box with flowers, the medium one with edible treats and the small heart with something sparkly!
