Low centrepieces can still have the WOW factor. Sometimes people worry that low centrepieces won’t have the same impact in a room as tall centrepieces. This is often a concern if the reception room has a particularly tall ceiling.
Tall flower arrangements in a high ceiling rooms are always going to work well but that doesn’t mean low ones will not also look good. The only thing to remember is that if you go for low centrepieces make sure they are large enough.

You can see in the photo here a low vintage centrepiece that we created for a bride last summer. Her reception room was the elegant Moncrief room at Walton Hall Hotel.
Many of our couples holding their wedding breakfast at this venue choose tall arrangements because of the huge size of this room (it has a really high ceiling). However these stunning low centrepieces looked beautiful and certainly added impact and style into this room. The arrangements were large enough to not get lost in the room but still left plenty of room on the table for wine bottles etc.
In the video below you get a better idea of the size of this type of arrangement. Here you can see me delivering Nancy and Oliver’s vintage wedding flowers to Alveston Pastures near Stratford Upon Avon.
