They are the feathered mini gerbera, and I like to call them hairy gerberas! Gerberas are such a fun flower and we use them all the time but this feathered gerbera really is beautiful. They come in all sorts of colours similar to the normal gerbera.

Gerberas are a popular choice for wedding flowers. They are really effective when used on their own or work equally well when combined with other flowers.
They are suitable for use in bouquets, buttonholes and all types of ceremony and table arrangements. The availability of colours for this flower is amazing the only two colours I can think of that they don’t come in are purple and green, but nearly every other colour. There are also some colours where you can get them in different shades for example pink, there’s a baby pale pink, mid pink and vibrant cerise pink, seen here.

Gerberas are available throughout the year and perhaps for this reason provide a perfect choice for wedding flowers in all seasons. I’ve not met many people that don’t like these cute little flowers. They were one of my choices of wedding flowers, along with others!
Due to the high availability of these flowers throughout the year they also provide brides with a very affordable flowers choice.
The feathered (or hairy gerbera!) is now just another option you could choose if you are planning to use gerberas in your wedding flowers. The great thing about this variety is it’s not so common so should give you that ‘wow, I haven’t seen that before’ impact without blowing your budget.
